Gray Reef Fishing Report

Fishing Condition

The Gray Reef is around 500 cfs, and fishing is good. Small #20 and #22 Mayhem Midges in black or gray have been standouts! Pegged San Juans in red, wine, and purple have been fishing as well as Squirmy Worms and purple Impalers. Smaller Pat’s Rubber Legs have been enthusiastically consumed by trout too. Rainbow Warriors, Barr’s Emergers, Mac Grubers, and even Epoxy Back BWOs are producing as we look forward to the upcoming Blue Wing Olive hatch. There remains some Trico fishing mornings, followed by fishing hopper droppers during the afternoon.
